The Big Bang Fair

Over the three days of the fair the Society for the Environment in association with The Society of Environmental Engineers and Lockheed Martin will be running an activity in the Main Hall "Power Up"  zone on stand A12.

The activity will be based on the use of a Solar Panel to heat a given quantity of water in a closed loop environment over a limited time scale.

Entrants will assessed on their design, construction, comprehension of the task, knowledge of the technology behind the task, data collection and recording.

It is envisaged that the task will last for 30 minutes, this to include all of the elements above. The winning entrant/s will be the team who are able to raise the temperature of the water by the most amount in the given time period.

Teams should consist of no more than 4 members.
